Terms and Conditions

1. Orders & Customization

All orders are handcrafted to your specific requests. Please provide accurate details regarding shapes, flavor profiles, and color palettes at the time of inquiry. Design complexity, additional colors, or custom shapes beyond our standard packages may result in price adjustments.

2. Deposits & Payments

Special & Custom Orders: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and begin the design process. The remaining balance is due [Number, e.g., 7] days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery.
Presale Orders: Full payment or a 50% deposit (as specified at checkout) is required for all holiday and seasonal presales to guarantee your order.
Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

3. Changes & Cancellations

Changes to design, quantity, or flavor can be requested up to [Number] days before your event, subject to availability and potential price changes. If you must cancel your order, the 50% deposit remains non-refundable to cover ingredient costs and held calendar space.

4. Pickup & Handling

Pickup dates and times will be noted on our calendar. Once an order leaves our care, L'Oven Sweet Treats is no longer responsible for any damage caused by improper transport or storage.

Storage Tip: Keep cookies in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent icing melt or color fading. All cookies can be frozen in an air tight container for up to 3 months. Do not open container when thawing until cookies reach room temperature.

5. Allergies & Ingredients

Our products are made in a kitchen that may handle common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify guests of potential allergens.

Return and Refund Policy

At L'Oven Sweet Treats, we take great pride in crafting your custom orders. Because our treats are handmade and scheduled in advance, we adhere to the following policy:

1. Deposits & Final Payment

Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and cover the cost of initial preparations. This deposit is non-refundable, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full at or before the time of pickup. Orders will not be released until final payment is received.

2. Changes to Your Order

We understand that plans can change! You may request modifications to your order (such as flavor, design, or quantity) up to 10 days prior to your scheduled pickup date.

Please note that significant changes may result in a price adjustment.
Requests made within the 10-day window cannot be guaranteed as ingredients may have already been prepared and designs finalized.

3. Cancellations

More than 10 days notice: If you cancel your order more than 10 days before pickup, you will not be responsible for the remaining balance; however, the 50% initial deposit will be retained by L'Oven Sweet Treats.
Less than 10 days notice: Cancellations made within 10 days of pickup are not eligible for a refund of any payments made, as the work on your custom order has already begun.

4. No-Shows

Orders not picked up at the scheduled time (without prior communication) will be held for 24 hours. After this window, the order will be forfeited without a refund to ensure product freshness.
